At The People's Gallery Project, our mission is to provide creative entrepreneurship opportunities for marginalized artists. We aim to increase access to financial freedom and employment in non-traditional careers for individuals who have experienced significant trauma and have turned to art as a form of healing.
We work to achieve our mission by providing direct services and hosting gallery events in which artists can showcase and sell their artwork and make 100% of the profit of all art sales. Direct services include pro-bono Occupational Therapy sessions with a focus on building professional skills, social participation, tech literacy, and community re-entry. Events provide hands-on opportunities for each artist to practice professional and social skills.
